Mind your salt. I would guess that salt is optional because some brands of meat substitute are extremely salty. That said, Loma Linda Vege-Burger brand (which I would guess is what this calls for) actually isn’t especially high in sodium with 5% of your daily value per serving.

Roast
1 can vegeburger or ground gluten–primeburger
Vary–sage–may use 2 kinds
1/2-3/4 cup chopped nuts–walnuts, vary
1/2-3/4 cup oatmeal (cooked, preferably)
1 clove garlic, pressed or mashed
1 fair sized onion (2 inch in diameter), chopped
1/4 [2/4 as a note] salt, vegeburger
1 tsp. chicken seasoning
(1 Tbsp. soy sauce, optional)
2 Tbsp. oil–stir and form into loaf. Bake 375 for about an hour.
