Rice and Lentil Loaf

Another vegan option.

Any thoughts as to what the missing word at the top is? I considered “garden goo,” but that’s a brand of plant food, so it seems unlikely. But isn’t that also a fair description of many vegan options? [EDIT: In the comments, Hap thinks it’s garbanzo and I think Hap’s right! Thanks!]

From a box sold in Chicago, Illinois.

Rice and Lentil Loaf

1 cup rice, pre-cupped [pre-cooked, I assume]
1 pound lentils; cook until dry; use clove of garlic
1 good-sized onion, chopped
2 Tbsp. oil
1 cup pecans or walnuts
1/2 tsp. or more sage or chicken flavoring

Make into a loaf or put in casserole. Bake 1 hour at 375 deg.

Optional garbanzo — ? May not be complete

    Mystery word at the top is “Garbanzos” I think (chickpeas).
