Sweet And Sour Pork
In covered skillet, with little oil, cook slices of tenderloin or pork chops, slowly until about tender.
Then add:
- about 1/2 onion, separating rings.
- 1/4 of a pepper (red looks pretty)
Remove meat and cube. Return cubes to pan.
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1/2 to 1 cup of celery
- 3 to 5 Tbsp. sugar (white)
(Cook with lid on pan.)
Add crushed pineapple, about 3-4 serving spoons full. (Taste occasionally.)
Cook low–few minutes. Celery need not be totally tender. Add 1 bouillon cube. Add cornstarch to thicken. Serve over rice.
(My recipe.)
