Basic Meatballs

As basic as it gets.

From a box sold in Nampa, Idaho.

Basic Meatballs

1 lb. ground beef
1 egg
1 small onion, chopped (1/4 cup)
1/3 c. dry bread crumbs
1/4 c. milk
3/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Mix all ingredients; shape mixture by Tablespoonful into 1-1/2 inch balls (occasionally wet hands to shape meat).

Heat 1 Tbsp. oil in large skillet and cook meatballs over medium heat until brown, about 20 minutes. Drain fat.

Place meatballs in lightly greased baking pan 13 x 9 x 2 or 15-1/2 x 10-1/2 x 1. Bake 400 deg. till lightly brown; drain.

Makes 24 meatballs.
