Streusel Coffee Cake

With walnuts.

Streusel Coffee Cake

(Makes one 9-inch square cake)

3/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup Crisco Oil
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
1-1/2 cups sifted regular flour
2 teaspoons double-acting baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt

Combine sugar, Crisco Oil, and egg. Add milk and beat thoroughly. Stir in combined dry ingredients. Beat until smooth. Spread in a greased 9-inch square pan.

Sprinkle with Streusel Topping.

Bake at 375 deg. for 30-305 minutes.

Streusel Topping

1/2 cup light brown sugar
2 tablespoons regular flour
2 teaspoons cinnamon
2 Tablespoons Crisco Oil
1/2 cup finely-chopped walnuts

Combine all ingredients with a fork. Sprinkle on batter.
