Peach Ice Cream

From 1979.

From a box sold in Nampa, Idaho.

Peach Ice Cream


  • 12 egg yolks
  • 1 pint half and half
  • 4 Tbsp. lecithin

Cook in double boiler over hot water until thickened.

Add 2 cups sugar (maybe try honey next time).


Grind enough peeled peaches to make 4 cups with 1 cup sugar added.

Mix custard, peaches, and 3 half-pints of whipping cream in ice cream mixer can (about 3/4ths to 4/5ths full). Freeze in usual manner.

Best so far!!!

Not icy when frozen!!!
