From a box sold in East Moline, Illinois.
Poached Salmon And Tartar Sauce
4 salmon steaks
2 c. water
2 Tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. salt
1 bay leaf
Cook fish in fry pan covered with this water mixture. (About 10 minutes).
1-1/2 Tbsp. butter and flour
3/4 c. milk
1/4 c. (or 1 Tbsp. dehydrated) onion
1/4 c. drained sweet pickle relish
1/4 tsp. salt
Before serving add 1 Tbsp. lemon juice and parsley.
