Pumpkin Bread

With cinnamon, clove, and nutmeg.

From a box sold in East Moline, Illinois.

Pumpkin Bread

1-2/3 c. flour
1-2/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. powdered clove
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Sift all dry ingredients together and add:
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. salad oil
1 c. pumpkin
2 eggs
1 c. of dates or raisins or as many nuts as desired.

Bake for 1-1/2 hours at 325 deg. Fill pans [good?] half full.
