Pork Chow Mein
Brown:
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 cups pork
2 cups thinly sliced celery
1-1/2 cups sliced onions
2 cups boiling water
2 chicken bouillon cubes
Cover and cook 10 minutes.
1 (3 oz.) can mushrooms
1 can water chestnuts
1 green pepper, sliced
Add and simmer 2 minutes.
Mix and add:
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
Cook until cornstarch is dissolved. Sprinkle toasted almonds on top.
