Pineapple Cake

With cream cheese frosting.

From a box sold in East Moline, Illinois.

Pineapple Cake

2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. baking soda
1 can crushed pineapple (20 oz.) including juice in heavy syrup.

Mix together but don’t overbeat. Pour into greased 9×13 pan. Bake 40 minutes, 350 deg.

While still hot, poke holes with fork.

Frosting:
1/2 box powdered sugar
3/4 stick softened butter or margarine
8 oz. pkg. softened cream cheese
1 tsp. vanilla
