If a creamsicle were a cake, it’d be this one.
From a box sold in East Moline, Illinois.
Orange Cake
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 small cans mandarin oranges, drained
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
Nuts, if desired.
Mix until soupy. Bake at 350 deg. (30-35 minutes).
1/2 c. brown sugar
6 Tbsp. butter
6 Tbsp. milk
Cook till boils. Pour over hot cake. Prick with fork. Work back from sides.
