Devilicious Cheese Ball

How can I tell? Well, from the front alone, I can’t. But here’s the back.

Now, let’s look carefully at two pages from the November 13, 1988 edition of the Lakeland (Florida) Ledger:

Devilicious Cheese Ball

2 cans (4-1/2 ounces each) Underwood Deviled Ham
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1 package (0.4 ounces) dry ranch style dressing mix
1/2 cup diced tomato
1/2 cup diced green pepper
2 cups (8 ounces) shredded Cheddar cheese
1/2 cup roasted, unsalted sunflower seeds

In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients except sunflower seeds. Refrigerate until firm enough to handle. Form into a ball and roll in sunflower seeds. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Makes 1 cheese ball.
