Egg Sausage Casserole

Needs a bit more Tabasco, I’d say.

Egg Sausage Casserole

6 eggs
2 cups of milk (or half and half)
1 tsp. of salt
1 tsp. mustard
2 slices white bread, cubed
1 lb. of bulk sausage
1 cup grated sharp cheese
1 shake of Tabasco sauce

Beat eggs, add milk, salt, mustard and Tabasco. Grease 9 x 13 baking dish. Put layer of bread cubes, layer of cooked sausage, layer of grated cheese.

Pour egg mixture over all–bake 45 minutes at 350 deg.

(Can be prepared the day before, refrigerated and cooked next morning when ready to serve.)

(I added pepper and in lieu of Tabasco sauce same amount of barbecue sauce.)
