Chocolate Icebox Dessert

A no-bake s’mores pie with nuts.

Chocolate Icebox Dessert

1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup powdered sugar
Chocolate syrup, small can
3 egg yolks
3 egg whites
1 cup nuts, chopped
1/2 pound marshmallows, cut up
1/2 pint whipped cream
16 large graham crackers

Cream 1/2 cup butter in electric mixer and gradually add 1/2 cup powdered sugar. Add small can chocolate syrup, egg yolks, nuts, marshmallows. Fold in whipped cream and stiffly beaten egg whites.

Crush crackers in bottom of 12 inch square pan, 2 inches deep. Pour chocolate mixture over crumbs and place remaining crumbs on top. Let stand 12 to 24 hours in refrigerator. Serves 12 persons.
