Stuffed Jalapeno Peppers

Halfway between poppers and traditional stuffed bell peppers.

From a box sold in San Antonio, Texas.

Stuffed Jalapeno Peppers

Place 6 or more peppers in boiling water for 20 minutes. After removing let cool for 10 minutes so you [can remove] outer skin using a paring knife. Slit open sides lengthwise and remove seeds.

You may stuff with ground beef, turkey, chicken, ham or grated cheese.

Dip in flour then egg batter and 2 minutes to a golden brown in grease deep enough so peppers can be turned over.
