Chocolate Fudge

Made with evaporated milk and marshmallows.

Chocolate Fudge

2-1/2 cups white sugar
1/4 cup margarine
3/4 cup evaporated milk
1 pkg. chocolate bits
pinch salt
1/2 cup marshmallows
1/2 cup walnuts

Cook milk, sugar, oleo and salt until it forms soft ball in a little cold water. Add vanilla, chocolate bits, marshmallows and nuts.

Mix well and beat lightly. Pour into greased 8×8 inch cake pan.

P.S. Add one teaspoon of baking powder when beating the fudge and the candy will be much smoother in texture!

This recipe is wonderful!

Recipe makes about 2-1/4 lbs.
