Yesteryear Farm Tea

I can’t put my finger on it, but there’s something I really like about the name of this recipe.

I’ve haven’t come up with a recipe yet for “Yesterdish Farm Tea,” but if I did, my guess is it’d be a jar of moonshine with a teabag in it. Seems legit, right?

Other than that, this looks like a slightly dressed-up version of Russian tea, a recipe we’ve talked about at great length in the post for Russian tea from Sun City, Arizona.

From the box of J.L. from Westborough, Massachusetts.

Yesteryear Farm Tea

2 cups Tang
2 cups sugar
1 cup instant tea (lemon flavor)
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves (ground)

Mix well; Jamie and [I] use 2 tsp. of mixture to a cup of boiling H20. Makes a quart of dry ingredients.

Delicious!
