Barbecued Spareribs

Baked in sauce.

From the box of G.Y. from Wichita, Kansas.

Barbecued Spareribs

Cut into servings–3-1/2 to 4 lbs. ribs. Place in single layer baking dish.

Heat to boil…

1-1/2 cups water
1 can tomato sauce
2 medium-size onions, chopped
3 tsp. vinegar
1-1/2 tsp. sugar
3 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. dry mustard

Pour sauce over meat. Cover pan. Chill overnight.

Bake, covered, in hot oven 450 deg. 30 minutes, basting. Then bake 350 deg. for 1-1/2 to 2 hours or until meat is tender.
