Molasses Pecan Pie
1/4 cup butter or margarine
9 Tablespoons sugar
3 eggs
1/2 cup molasses
1/4 cup water
juice of 1 lemon
few grains salt
1 cup sliced pecans
Cream butter or margarine with sugar; add eggs, molasses, water, lemon juice, and salt. Beat with rotary beater. Add pecans.
Pour into pastry-lined pie pan. Bake in hot oven (450 deg. F.) 10 minutes. Lower oven heat to (350 deg. F.) Bake 30 minutes.
