Chocolate Town Cookies
Cream:
- 1 cup shortening
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 2 eggs, well beaten
Add dry sifted ingredients to creamed mixture:
- 2-1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
Stir in:
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Drop by teaspoons onto greased baking sheet. Bake 10 minutes. 375 degrees.
Yields 8 dozen cookies.
