3/4 cup butter
1-1/3 cups sugar
1 cup mashed cooked pumpkin
1/4 cup light molasses
1 teaspoon vanilla
2-1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup chopped walnuts
Cream butter and sugar till light and fluffy. Add egg; beat well. Stir in pumpkin, molasses, and vanilla.
Sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Add to creamed mixture. Beat well. Stir in nuts.
Drop dough by round teaspoonful onto greased baking sheet, 350 deg., 10-12 minutes.
