Sausage Roll

With a baking powder crust.

From the box of L.R. from Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Sausage Roll

Blend:

  • 4 cups flour
  • 1/4 cup cornmeal
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2/3 cup cooking oil
  • 2/3 cup milk

Roll on wax paper. Chill.

2 lbs. hot sausage (bulk).

Roll up dough and sausage.

Bake 15-20 minutes, 350 deg.
