Jell-o Ecstasy

Was this really the best idea we had for a name?

I can’t help but speculate on rejected names for Jell-o Ecstasy (and by the way, I can find no other use of this name):

  • Jigglegasm
  • Jell-O-Face
  • Wiggly Ending (particularly for dessert)
  • Possibly Ten Minutes of Rapture (read the recipe, it’ll make sense)
  • Collagen Necklace (if it’s, like, a round one)

I’m sure I’m missing some. Comment if you have thoughts.

From the box of F.J. from Sun City, Arizona. Some cards suggest a family history in Missouri and Kansas.

Jell-o Ecstasy

1 package Jell-o (any flavor)
1 cup milk

Place in pan to dissolve (possibly 10 minutes)

Break 2 eggs; put yolks in bowl with one cup of sugar. Mix well; add Jell-o to milk mixture; put on stove to boil until clear. (Possibly 10 minutes). Set aside to cool.

Whip one can of Milnot or equal amount of heavy cream. Fold in cooked Jell-o. Beat egg whites until stiff; fold in likewise.

Add nuts, pineapple, coconut, etc. Crumble vanilla wafers or graham crackers to line container. Pour in mixture. Sprinkle remaining crumbs on top.
