Peanut Butter Crisscross Cookies 2

The second of two versions, this one with vanilla.

Peanut Butter Crisscross Cookies

1 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 cup peanut butter
3 cups flour
2 tsp. baking soda
dash of salt

Cream shortening, sugar and vanilla. Add eggs; mix thoroughly.

Add flour, soda and salt together; add a little at a time until thoroughly mixed.

To make crisscross use fork to push dough down. Bake at 425′ 10 minutes or until brown. Yield 8 dozen.
