Boiled Onions

My sister loves grilled onions; this is a cousin. I wouldn’t refuse them with a steak or on a sandwich.

Boiled Onions

Method:

Remove outer skin from onions. Cut in slices and cover with boiling salted water. Boil five minutes; drain and cover again with boiling salted water.

Cook until soft; drain and season with salt, pepper and butter; if desired, a little hot milk.
