My favorite old dining tradition: coffee with the meal. I’m notorious for doing this still.

67# steak, put through crimper
90# potatoes
20 heads lettuce
1 bunch celery
1 pack tomatoes + 3 packs
5# butter + 2#
15 pkgs. frozen vegetables
1 gal. can green beans — we used 3 sm. cans of corn also
8 loaves bread–4 brown — at least 5 more used
5# sugar
5# flour
2# coffee — regular grind
3# can Crisco — plus 1# can
2 qt. half & half
1 gal. milk + 1/2 gal.
1 roll wide aluminum foil
1 sm. box pepper
Reservations were for 175 maximum.
They ran in 211. Not enough meat.
