Beef Fantasy

Two lbs. round steak
One fourth cup shortening
One third cup instant onion
One garlic clove, minced
Four oz. can sliced mushrooms, undrained
Eight oz. can tomato soup
Three fourths cup beef bouillon
One Tbsp. Worcestershire
One tsp. salt
One eighth tsp. pepper
One and one-half cups sour cream

Preheat oven to 325. Cut steak into inch cubes. Heat shortening in skillet over medium flame. Saute onion and garlic until onion yellows; add meat; brown well on all sides. Pour off any excess fat. Add remaining ingredients; blend. If using oven proof skillet, cover; or put mixture in a casserole, cover; and bake in 325 degree oven one and one fourth hours, till meat is tender.
