Perfect Pie Crust And Janice’s Pie Crust

Two recipes, one card. It looks like the part under the sticker says “3,” which might be why there are two recipes, depending on how many crusts you intend to make.

Perfect Pie Crust

4 c. flour
1 Tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. salt
1-3/4 c. vegetable shortening (not lard, butter, margarine or oil)
1/2 c. water
1 Tbsp. vinegar
1 egg


Janice’s Pie Crust (2)

3 c. flour
1-1/4 c. shortening

Beat 1 egg.

Add:

  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vinegar
  • 5 Tbsp. ice water
