Filled Cookies
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. shortening
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
3-1/4 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
vanilla
Pack in pan–fair size–to chill. Cut in thin slices and place filling on one and cover with another, pressing edges together.
Filling
1 c. chopped raisins
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. flour
1/2 c. H20
Cook until thick–stir constantly as it burns easily.
