Pork Chops, Fresh Tomatoes, And Rice
2 thick loin pork chops
2 heaping Tablespoons uncooked rice, regular or minute
2 thick slices Bermuda onions
2 slices green pepper
2 thick slices fresh tomato
1-1/4 cup beef bouillon
1/4 teaspoon thyme
1/4 teaspoon marjoram
salt and pepper
Saute chops on both sides in their own fat.
Place chops in low casserole and place on each chop a heaping tablespoon of rice, an onion slice, green pepper, and tomato slice. Pour bouillon over all and sprinkle herbs, pepper.
Cover and bake 350 deg. for 50 minutes or until tender.
