From a box sold in Nampa, Idaho.
Buckwheat Pilaf
Bring to boil:
- 2-1/4 cups water
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 2 tsp. chicken stock base
Add: 1/2 c. white rice. Stir.
Boil for 5 minutes. (Simmer.)
Add:
- 1/4 cup buckwheat groats.
- 1/4 cup bulgar wheat
- To taste:
- 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. marjoram
- 1/8 tsp. thyme
- 1/8 tsp. rosemary
- 1 Tbsp. vegetable flakes (dried)
- 1/2 tsp. Accent
Simmer 15 more minutes. Water will be absorbed. Serve.
