Spritz Cookies
1 cup shortening
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg or 3 egg yolks
2-1/4 [cup] sifted all purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. almond extract
- Cream shortening; add sugar gradually.
- Add egg, unbeaten. Beat well.
- Add sifted dry ingredients and extract.
Fill a Mirro Cooky Press. Form cookies on ungreased aluminum cookie sheet.
Bake. Makes 5 dozen.
