Blackberry Wine

Oh, and hey, the sewing machine’s working!

From the box of A.D. from Lutz, Florida, by way of Pennsylvania in the 1940s, and originating in Ohio in the 1920s.

Blackberry Wine

Crush 2 quarts very ripe berries. Stir in 1 pint boiling water. Let stand one day, stirring several times.

Press and add 2 quarts warm water. Mix well and press agian.

Then add 1 pound sugar to 2 quarts of juice. Ferment.
