Date-Nut Balls
Miss Thea Testa 20 Marshall Hill Rd. Westminster, Mass. 01473 Cream together Mix thoroughly. Shape into balls about the size of a walnut. Roll in coconut. As you make them into balls and put on the coconut, put them on a sheet of foil for 15-20 minutes and then store in a tightly covered can to keep fresh. |

Polly’s Date Nut Balls
1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 [c.] (8 oz.) chopped dates
Cook until blended.
2 c. Rice Krispies
1 c. chopped nuts
Roll in coconut.
