Frosted Apricots

It’s… a cold jar of apricots.

For a more traditional recipe for frosted apricots, here’s one from the April 12, 1972 edition of the Lakeland (Florida) Ledger, where it’s a garnish for a cake recipe:

Frosted Apricots:

1 egg white
Water
Dried apricot halves
Granulated Sugar

To Frost Apricots: combine slightly beaten egg white and a little water; brush over apricots; sprinkle with sugar. Let dry on rack, overnight.
