Amish Casserole

Beef, cheese, noodles, and two kinds of condensed soup.

From the box of D.W. from Cedar Falls, Iowa.

Amish Casserole

Brown together:

  • 1-1/2 lbs. ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 T. brown sugar

Then [add] 1 can undiluted tomato soup.

Cook 8 oz. noodles, then mix undiluted cream of mushroom soup.

Grease a 9×13 pan–then put 1/2 meat mixture [and] all noodles–then spread 8 oz. sharp cheddar cheese and finally the meat mixture. Cover with foil and bake.

Bake 350 deg. 30-40 minutes.
