A family recipe provided by Jennifer Kiel of Washington, DC, from her mother-in-law’s collection, started in Kent, Ohio.
Hawaiian Meat Loaf
1 lb. ground beef
1 lb. ground veal
1/4 lb. ground pork
1 c. bread crumbs
1/4 c. chopped dill pickles
1 c. crushed pineapple
1 tsp. salt
1 egg
dash salt
Mix all together thoroughly. Shape into a loaf. Place in a buttered baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for 1 to 1-3/4 hours.
