Meatloaf, where ham is the meat.
A family recipe provided by Jennifer Kiel of Washington, DC, from her mother-in-law’s collection, started in Kent, Ohio.
Ham Loaf
2 lb. ground ham
1/8 tsp. pepper
1-1/2 cups soft bread crumbs
1 egg
1 cup milk
Mix all together and bake as any other meat loaf. May substitute part of the milk for ketchup if desired. Will give a more red color to the meat loaf.
