Crock Pot Beef Stew

Fine herbs is probably fines herbes, a French blend of herbs. There’s some variation here, but it usually includes some of the following: parsley, tarragon, chervil, chives, marjoram, thyme, and cilantro.

Crock Pot Beef Stew

4 carrots, peeled and sliced
3 potatoes, peeled and cubed
2 lbs. stew meat, cut in cubes
1 cup beef broth
1 t. salt
1 t. pepper
1 t. fine herbs
1 t. onion powder
1 celery stalk, cut up

Place ingredients in order given. Stir.

(Can of peas may be added last 1/2 hour.)

10-12 hours, low
5-6 hours, high
