Freezer Pickles (as written on the card)
24 pickle cucumbers + 10 onions
Slice paper thin. Soak in ice water 24 hours with weak salt solution. This makes enough sliced pickles to fill veg. crisper in refrig.
Add about 1 handful of salt with ice cubes overnight.
Make syrup–heat 5 lbs. of sugar + 3 cups of vinegar until sugar dissolves.
Drain pickles + onions, place in containers, pour cool syrup over all + freeze.
