Raisins will not stick to a food chopper if the chopper is dipped in hot waiter before the raisins are put in.

Brown all the left-over pieces of bread in the oven and crush with a rolling pin. Keep them in a glass jar until needed.

When cutting quilt blocks, make a pattern out of a good ink blotter. When placed on the material it will stick to the goods and not slide around as paper does.
