Scalloped Potatoes

With bacon.

From a box sold in East Moline, Illinois.

Scalloped Potatoes

8 medium potatoes
1/2 lb. cheese, sliced
1 c. evaporated milk
1-1/2 tsp. salt
1 medium onion
6 slices bacon

Peel and slice potatoes. Layer 1/2 potatoes, cheese, and onion–then repeat.

Add salt, pepper, and milk and top with bacon. Cover with aluminum foil and bake 45 minutes at 375 deg. Remove foil last 15 minutes. Be sure bacon is cooked, not soggy.
