Using unsweetened cocoa.
From the box of C.N. sold in De Soto, Kansas.
Cocoa
- Scald milk in double boiler.
- Mix cocoa and sugar in saucepan.
- Stir water into the sugar and cocoa mixture.
- Boil mixture 5 minutes.
- Add cocoa mixture to scalded milk.
- Cook 5 minutes longer or until smooth.
- When done, beat with a dover egg beater until foamy and serve immediately.
1 pt. scalded milk
1 pt. boiling water
2 Tbsp. cocoa
2 to 4 tsp. sugar
