Mississippi Mud Cake

Chocolate, coconut, and nuts.

Mississippi Mud Cake

1 stick oleo
2 cups sugar
4 Tbsp. cocoa
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1-1/2 cups flour
1-1/2 cups coconut
1-1/2 cups nuts

Cream oleo, sugar and cocoa; add eggs and vanilla, mix flour, coconut and nuts–pour into greased 9 x 13 (approx.) pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes. When done, spread 1 small jar marshmallow creme on cake while hot then cool.

Icing

1 box powdered sugar
1 stick oleo
1/2 c. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix sugar and melted oleo–add cocoa and vanilla; if too stiff add milk for moisture.
