Mrs. Meinkis’ Never Fail Pie Crust

Another call for Crisco.

Mrs. Meinkis’ Never Fail Pie Crust

2 c. flour
1/4 c. H20
Dash salt
3/4 c. Crisco or shortening

Mix 1/4 c. flour and 1/4 c. H20 like a paste. Set aside.

Place 1-3/4 c. flour in bowl; add salt and half of Crisco. Mix well. Add remaining Crisco and mix, then add paste mixture and work slightly.

Divide dough in half for two crusts.

Oven 450 or for single crust 375 deg. about 10 or 15 minutes.
