Chiles a la Stella

Sort of a condiment or sauce.

If the quantities and ingredients are “your choice,” how is this “a la Stella?” Stella, please explain yourself. Until you do I’m withholding your exclamation point.

Chiles a la Stella

Chile of Arbol (optional taste)
Fresh garlic (about 3 cups)
2 cups vegetable oil
Salt for taste

Heat 2 cups of oil. Toast chlies in separate pan until light brown. Put chiles in hot oil; let soak. After, put chiles in blender with garlic (or other seasonings–it’s your choice). Put 1 cup of oil in blender and blend until mixed.

Makes 1 pound.
