Red Cabbage and Apples
(Crock-pot)
1 small head red cabbage, washed and sliced coarsely
1 medium onion, peeled and chopped
3 apples, peeled, cored and quartered
2 t. salt
1 c. hot water
1 1/2 T. sug.
1/2 c. vinegar
3 T. margarine
Place all ingredients in the order listed in pot. Cover — cook on low 8-10 hours or high 3 hours. Before serving, stir thoroughly.
