Deviled Ham and Cheese Log

Something is comforting about a cheese log. It is simultaneously so out-of-style and yet so elegant in is simplicity. Hipster food? Maybe.

From a box sold in San Antonio, Texas.

Deviled Ham and Cheese Log

1 (4 1/2 oz.) can deviled ham
1/4 c. finely chopped pecans
8 oz. cream cheese
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. Tabasco
1/4 tsp. paprika

Blend deviled ham and pecans, cream cheese and seasonings, except paprika. Shape into a roll about 7 inches by 1 1/2″ and chill.
Sprinkle paprika generously on 12-inch square of waxed paper. Roll ham log to cover evenly with paprika. Wrap in wax paper and chill overnight in refrigerator.

Slice and serve on crackers. 24 servings.
