Pineapple Cake Filling
1 SMALL can of crushed pineapple
2 heaping tablespoons of cornstarch
1/2 cup sugar
Lump of butter or margarine
Mix together and boil until thick. Add teaspoon of lemon juice. Spread between layers and frost with 7 minute frosting.
(I bake cakes in pan 9x13x2. So, I double this recipe and spread on cake.)
