Pineapple Fluffy Icing

From a box sold in San Antonio, Texas.

Pineapple Fluffy Icing

2 Tbsp. shortening
1 Tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cup powdered sugar
2 1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup drained pineapple (crushed)

Cream shortening, butter, salt, and 1/2 cup powdered sugar. Add alternately 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar and 1/2 cup crushed drained pineapple and beat until light and fluffy. Add yellow food coloring and spread on cake.
